Biography
Midnight was born as a Arcane dragon, and she always felt a strong connection to the Arcanist and studied to be a magician her whole life. One day she left her home, and traveled around trying to find a place where she could study and train in peace, with dragons who would understand her. But she never found a place, the place found her.
Midnight received a invitation to visit The Crepusculum, the magical plane of existence with a portal into Sorneith. The invitation told her how to find the portal, and what day the next full moon was, so she could enter the portal and look around before deciding whether she wanted to stay or forget the existence of The Crepusculum. She entered as instructed on the full moon night, and was surprised at the festivities going on within the magic portal. She asked and was told that the celebration was called Luna Plena Ritu.
Midnight joined in the festivities, meeting new dragons, a few of which also were arcane dragons. She heard several stories of other dragons who had come to this place during the full moon and had decided to stay. She thought that maybe staying here was the best option for her, so she went to meet the leaders of the four sections of The Crepusculum as she had been instructed to do by her invitation. She met the leader of Nocte Caelum, the section that praised magic and the night, Nymphalidae. The Veilspun female welcomed Midnight into her section showing her a library where she could study the ways of the Arcane deity the Arcanist.
Midnight quickly settled into her new life, meeting the other dragons inside the Vespere Palace, Nocte Caelum’s central home. She learned about the rituals of the realm, that all dragons got a bonded partner at some point after joining or becoming a adult in The Crepusculum, that you weren’t allowed to tell dragons how to visit but that you could visit other dragons outside the portal. She did search for a partner, someone she wanted to have a family with, but she hasn’t found someone yet, though she thought for a time that she would bond with Moonwatcher, and she even had a few dragonets with him, but they weren’t suited together and they went their separate ways. Shes still looking, and she’ll find someone eventually, but for now shes fine on her own. Dedicating her life to studying, training in the arts of magic, and maybe making friends in the strange hidden plane of existence that was now her home.
Midnight was just a normal Arcane flight Skydancer, two months old, with three children, and a whole life that would certainly be as interesting as the place she lived. With her Storm, Iris, and Cobalt colored scales, apparel from the Starfall Celebration, and her familiar Maledictum, she was a Arcane dragon. And a resident of The Crepusculum.
