Aruna has a hot temper and a lot of energy. She finds it very hard to sit still more than a few minutes. Contrary to her brother Rubinio, she is not fond of doing long studies in the library. She has a more practical approach, she enjoys to go out and make her experiences on her own.

Due to her hot temper, Aruna has a lot of fights. Some dragons, especially the young ones, think that she is a little scary when she is close to rage, but after a quite wild explosion of fury she calms down fast and feels sorry for her lack of control. But others get on well with her, because she is honest and open-hearted, which means that one can be always sure what one is up to with her.

She befriended a young yeti. Both brawl a lot, just for fun.
