He was just a young squire when he saw the executions of shade-touched dragons. Although this was common place in the land, he felt a sense of wronging about them. His power, at the time, was too small to make a difference, so he continued to rise in the ranks, hoping that he could one day save them. Eventually, his hard work earned him a spot as one the bodyguards for a nobleman's daughter. He learned from the daughter that the dragons could possibly be saved from the shade through various types of gems. He, along with Earthy, lead a rebellion to free the shade-touched dragons. Because of his efforts, he was made leader of the group, a title that he still feels unworthy of. Despite the success of the rebellion, it left him and the others wanted criminals in their home and surrounding areas. The only place they could flee to was the Glades. Although he s noble, his ambition to better others has lead him to make rash decisions without the consent of others.
