Biography
Pensive, Quite, Trustworthy.
Fig came to the clan with his parents, Averell and Barton and his brother, Sherbert, when they were hatchlings. Originally the family was just passing through, as they had heard about the dragons with the stars on their bodies, and having two sons who had the same, the parents thought it must be serendipitous that they were so close to the clan and stopped there to rest. As it just so happened however, the clan was in desperate need of help with the propagation of their land for food. This was indeed serendipity at work, as Barton had been raised by farmers and was very talented at cultivating the perfect space for crops.
This deal was especially sweetened by the fact that Averell was a wonderful cook and would often make large meals for all of the clan.
So the family stayed with the clan for quite some time, helping them learn to nourish the land and in return be rewarded with the fruits of their labor. However as time went on Averell and Barton became restless, and wanted to continue their travels. But Fig and Sherbert had grown attached to the clan, and being teenagers gifted with the stubbornness and the self-assured drive that comes with youth, they were convinced they could take care of themselves and begged their parents to let them stay there. The adults were very hesitant at first, to leave their children all alone. But Fig and Sherbert had always proven to be smart young dragons, capable of watching out for each other. Plus the clan had welcomed them in like family, so they were sure their boys wouldn't be truly alone living there. So with no small amount of trepidation, Barton and Averell departed from the clan. Anxious, but proud of their sons for following their own paths.
