The orchard beckons to its newcomers, but every dragon knows none shall enter the lair, nor make it past the guard, without Noel.

Perhaps the bulk of her sauntering form both distresses and excites the trees when she passes by, but none rattle so deeply in their roots as her own seed. Born into the orchard and grown alongside many trees, the aloofness in which she tends to her own was unprecedented til the day she hatched and almost ate her seed whole instead of planting it. The day red fruit appeared atop her sapling was a blow to Aesop, whose own red apples he sheltered from view when she bounded up to him with branches waving from her jaws.
