Despite his name, Nomad did not inherit his parents' adventurous spirits. Shy and cautious, as a hatchling he often hid behind his parents or Tahel. He often keeps to himself, and can seem sour and prickly to most, but he's very close with Tahel--calling her "Auntie Tahel" and spending many nights stargazing beside her until he inevitably falls asleep nestled at her side.

Along with Tahel, he's soft for one other dragon--Nymph, who much like him struggled to keep up with the other hatchlings, though he only later found out why that was. Despite how short he can be with most dragons, he's always kind to Nymph and is fiercely protective of them.

He has a surprisingly soft, pleasant singing voice, though only Nymph knows about it.
