Rosalind's parents were Rosejewel the Skydancer and Violet the Pearlcatcher, both of the Shadow flight. She and her two sisters were born in a mighty lair in the Wispwillow Grove.

Rosalind suffers from memory problems, and has difficulty forming new memories or recalling recent ones. She remembers her parents and her birthplace, but she sometimes forgets where she is now, or can't recognize friends.

In spite of this, she is a very kind and loving individual, and will extend kindness to complete strangers (or those she thinks are strangers).

Her favourite things to do are sewing and crafting, which she is very good at. Sometimes she sells her finished projects, but often the earnings are misplaced or given away, with no recollection.

Rosalind has had one hatchling, Yue, with Raine the Tundra. Raine sent Yue home to his family to be raised, and she has since been exalted to the Icewarden.

Sometimes, Rosalind remembers her daughter, oftentimes not. Raine is understanding, and tries to help her as much as he can, but the strain on the relationship caused them to break up after a while. They remain good friends.
