Biography

Nines was infected in the egg by some kind of malign spirit, causing his body to mutate. The wraps on his wings and tail keep the spirit quiet and kept from doing him any harm. Due to his now intimate familiarity with possession, Nines is an occult investigator, earning treasure for Nethyliir by banishing troublesome spirits from sensitive locations and ridding others of curses and hexes. These he collects in the phylactery around his neck - he then sells these dark magics to others at something of a premium. The Ghostlight Brotherhood very much disapproves of his methods and (lack of) principles, but has not yet been able to catch him in the act.
