Lady Grey is tall, willowy, and has a somewhat supernatural air that makes most people think 'this lady can absolutely summon vines and probably nature spirits that will mess up my day'.

Of course she's a shadow dragon, but the impression is still very much there.

She doesn't talk much and tends to slowly wander around the Diamond Palace, gently laying her hand on people's shoulders and accidentally scaring the crap out them as she attempts to do customer service. Her voice is also somewhat calming and ethereal, how you'd probably imagine an fantasy ancient elven queen to speak, so most people just kind of nervously nod at the end of whatever she just said in an effort to get very, very far away. She considers this a job well done.

Whether she's actually mean or not is a matter of some debate, and one of the few mysteries Jesse has still not solved despite her many years around the Lady. Grey will give her small smile to a person walking in a terrified line directly away from her, but she'll also give out money and food to strangers.

Maybe, Jesse thinks, she just had a really weird family.

Everyone understands why Swank loves her, but the things that attracted her to him are somewhat less sure, aside from the general 'protection and money' thing. The honest answer no one would ever believe- she likes 'em big and flashy.

Grey has a tendency to treat him like a child, and not out of any malice on her part. To her he's like her younger brother that she thinks may never really grow up.
