The middle sibling of a set of triplets, Canterlane also proclaims that he is the only of the three to have his "head screwed on right". A no nonsense fisherman, Canterlane is well known amongst the rest of Acreron's people for preferring to mind his own business on the waters than to deal with any frivolity as he puts it. This is especially hilarious seeing as his older sister and younger brother, Bellane and Auroron respectively, are both known for their frivolity.

It's not bizarre to have Canterlane disappear when whaling season begins. The Imperial will fly far into the midst of the oceans to do his business and won't be seen for several months at a time before returning with a true horde of meat and supplies in tow. Unlike his sister, Canterlane's travels never see him bringing home any souvenirs that he doesn't pull straight from the ocean or the carcass of a whale.

Due to the nature of his occupation and the fact Canterlane is most of all an extremely practical dragon, the Acreron clan is afforded great auspiciousness from the local Maren clans. The dragon clan's relations with the marenfolk were always tolerant in the past but have entered a new era of peace and friendship in recent years; This has also opened up new trading venues as the migratory Maren bring treasures and wealth from far across the ocean and from deep within.
