Zara is not a stranger to the art of tragedy. Sickness ripped her clan to shreds when she was still young; She stood in the wreckage with the few that had managed to escape the grasp of death. It was then, and only then, that she truly took notice of Frost. Her fellow Imperial stepped forward with swift, nigh indifference to take control of the group that was left. While some would think such a stark apathy towards the fallen a slight and sure sign of an incompatible leadership... Zara saw great promise.

Being the last of the bizarre clan's electricians left standing, Zara was invaluable to the reconstruction of the group's infrastructure. This afforded her a particularly close position to Frost. The two could not quite be described as anything truly approaching a 'couple' or even 'mates'. That said, they have sired children together... as has Frost with most of those capable of doing so in his group. Zara at the least very clearly does not care. It's only practical, after all.

As for the rest of the group, Zara is not quite cruel towards them but shows less interest in appeasing or accommodating them. None of them take it too personally. It's Zara after all-- and their clan has never been the warmest despite the scorching environment.
