Chandra

Chandra's always been able to see more than she should. More than she would like. It's not visions, no. It's...whisps, shadows, things that seep into reality, things that others cannot visualize. Her familiar, an Enamored Swan, is, so far, the only other being that can make sense of what she sees. They may not see the shadowy beings she does, but they do sense them. And their presense, in its own way, seems to relax her, helps her feel less alone in what it is she can see.

Truthful words are often gilded

Tongues silver and tones saccharine

Worries and doubts assuaged, lulled

Though the heart knows the direction it is pulled

The future is a must, an impending doomsday

To find the answer, one looks within

Praying for another way.

Eyes scrying, beholding the very essence

Of the undying Father Time, fates switching on a dime

The universe's presence is that of a ghost

And the speckles of stars on the horizon an ungracious host.

On the precipice of something treacherous

She lies through her teeth once more

Hoping through the darkness of her thoughts that her fortunes bring friends galore.
