Sweetcake

Sweetcake He/Him Mate of Sylven Chef Sweetcake is the clan's head chef, and his favorite food is - yep, you guessed it - cake. He cooks most, if not all, of the meals and feasts for the clan. While he does love preparing these, he much prefers the simple delights of making candies and pastries. It's certainly fun to go all-out when presented with the challenge of a banquet; there's so many different dishes to test, and so many flavors to experiment with! Even so, for Sweetcake, all that excitement just can't compare to relaxing with a friend over some hot coco and a warm pie. But no matter what he's got cooking, the other clan members are always eager to dive in when they hear that Sweetcake made it.

Where most other dragons find lifelong companions in their own kind, Sweetcake found one in Sylven, a centaur archer. He first met her when she visited the clan as an escort for some traders from her herd. He'd put together a small spread of treats for them as a show of hospitality, and noticed that Sylven held a particular liking for his cooking. Every time she visited afterwards on these trade journeys, he made sure to prepare something special, just for her. Sure enough, she took a liking to more than just his cooking, and he found himself admiring her hardy attitude more and more.

Recently, Sweetcake put his skills to the test and participated in the Great Sornieth Bake-Off. For his entries, he made red velvet cake, mini chocolate rolls, and a sculpted vanilla cake of the snowy island in which Frostgrove Sanctuary is constructed. He was inspired by the eagerness of his fellow contestants, which helped him to put in an effort that he can be proud of.

Archer Liaison Sylven is a centaur archer, who hails from a Wintermane herd located at the northern edge of the Snowsquall Tundra. She's a rowdy sort, with a hearty laugh and a boisterous personality. She's a master with a bow and arrow, enough to give Tigermoth a run for his money, though you'd never hear him admit to it.

Sylven and her herd are longtime allies of the Snowfall Scavengers. She first met Sweetcake when she traveled to Frostgrove Sanctuary as an escort for some traders from her herd. Sweetcake had prepared a number of delicacies for the visitors, a gesture that Sylven found quite charming. She began taking up these escort journeys more regularly. With each visit, the alliance between the clan and the herd grew stronger, as did Sweetcake and Sylven grow closer. Eventually, she traveled to the clan with the intention of staying.

Sylven is now the official liaison between her herd and the Snowfall Scavengers, and the unofficial taste tester of Sweetcake's cooking endeavors. She does both jobs with determination and gusto. She's still adjusting to living with dragons full-time, and Sweetcake is sure to be with her every step of the way.
