Don't worry, it's understandable - you're hardly the first person to be enamored with Radiance's...well, radiance. He knows you're only so close because you can't take your eyes off him, and he certainly adores the attention. It only makes sense that someone as infatuating as him would inspire such awe in others. However, he wants all his onlookers to bathe in his light, you know? And you cast such a large shadow when you get that close! How can anyone else bask in his beautiful presence? So, if you wouldn't mind, just take a few steps back, aaannnddd... there we go. Much better.

Radiance is a light spirit, and if you couldn't tell, he's very proud of it. There's perhaps no one else in the world whom he likes as much as himself. He's quite certain he's everyone else's favorite too, as he saunters around the lair day in and day out, making sure to bring a little light into everyone's life.

His parents, Dawn and Desita, returned with him one day from one of their scavenging trips. Like Dawn before him, his origins are vague at best. Dawn and Desita will only tell you that "he's made of a little bit of both of us," though they've no idea where his ego came from. Oh, and don't even bother trying to ask Radiance himself about it; he'll just start preaching about how he's "a gift to all of Sorneith - a gift to all of dragon kind." Fortunately, you can easily slip away without him noticing - he's certainly more interested in talking about himself than whether or not you're actually listening.
