Despite bearing a strong resemblance to her mother, Desita's personality is in stark contrast. Where her mother enjoys the bustling life of being the Monarch, Desita prefers the quiet of her workshop. Where Ceremar doesn't like to stray far from home, Desita loves to go exploring. She often goes scavenging in the Shifting Expanse for parts and components to tinker with. Her countless hours spent on her mechanical hobbies has lead to quite the level of expertise. This, in turn, has lead to her becoming the clan's cheif engineer.
Desita's mate, Dawn, accompanies Desita on her expiditions whenever she can, both because she also enjoys the adventure, and to relieve Ceremar's worries. Given these frequent trips, Desita holds an honorary position as a crew member of the Iridescence.
