Sundahlia was born a Wildclaw in a sizeable Light Clan. She moved to Clan Ksayla after the Clan Council spent months searching for the right fit for the Ambassador to light. When Zyalon met with Dahlia near her home in Mirrorlight Promenade, he explained to her the position, and responsibilities she would have. She immediately said yes, being excited for an opportunity to get away from a clan that wanted her to fall in line with other Wildclaws and to go to one where she would have the prestige she felt entitled to, without having to work for it. Especially since she hated all the traditional activities of hunting, gathering, and fighting.

When she arrived in Clan Ksayla, she grew accustomed to her position of power and reverence quickly. She even loved her duties traveling to other clans, as this gave her more opportunities to gather juicy gossip or fabulous rumors. She even trained a Talkative Hookbeak to be a spy of sorts, parroting back the latest news from around the lair when she would return from Ambassador trips.

Then, one day after a particularly heated Dominance battle, one where all the deities were watching, Sundahlia awoke to the greatest gift she had ever received: she was a Pearlcatcher. Lightweaver had shone her blessing down and made Dahlia what she was always meant to be. Absolutely no one in the Clan was overly shocked by the transformation, as Sundahlia had no aptitude for hunting or fighting and rather treasured gossip more than all the gold in Sornieth, an activity better suited for Pearlcatchers.
