B I O G R A P H Y

Nightsky was hatched and raised in the Ashfall Waste. He grew up without his parents, but it didn't make too much of a difference for him. His family taught him the art of fire magic; but not for attacks. His family's business was a fire show, which had the dragons dancing with colorful ribbons of flames. It was a difficult task to do it correctly, but Nightsky practiced and did his best. He was loved by the audience, as his shiny skin sparkled in the light of the flames.
Underneath, his family wasn't just show business. They were also a trained diviner of spirits, and could communicate with the dead with a certain spell. Nightsky excelled at this, and they decided to call him 'Spiritwalker' afterwards.
His family had adored him from his talents, but they requested that he go. They sent him away with a full bag, hopefully giving him enough supplies for a journey. Each side was sad at his leaving, but they always said 'they had a reason'.

After his leaving, in a place far away and secluded, he used his spells and summoned a ghost of someone who was close. Instead of a dead cousin or uncle, he was greeted with the faces of his parents. Brutally ripped apart, their spectral bodies were nothing more than filaments and strands of muscle holding the parts together. They spoke in unison, each of them having a soft, sorrowful tone.
"If you were to have stayed, then this would be your fate as well. Stay strong, child. And we will stay with you until your end."

They kept their promise. They stayed with him, talked to him when he was alone, and gave him advice.
Until he was doomed to die.

B I O G R A P H Y

He had been practicing his magic when another dragon came across his practice. Their conversation went from unpleasant to creepy...
And the stances went from neutral to aggressive.

At the end of the day, one life had been lost.
After the dragon had left, the spirits of his parents came and performed a ritual, forever binding his soul to roam the earth.
As like the rest of his family.

Now lies the ghost of a well-traveled dancer, bound to the world and seeking vengeance against the one who wronged him.

His usual form is the body he took on when he died; a broken wing, its membrane eaten away by corrosive acids and bones protruding from his flesh, holes in his jaws as if his mouth had been sown shut, gaping holes in his chest where his muscle was ripped from his body, and deep, bloody gashes across his throat.
He chooses not to show in that form.
