Kraid

Kraid came to live in the tribe as a very young hatchling, barely capable of flight. According to her account, she had been following her mother Samus as they were returning home from the training fields. She tumbled down a cliff and became trapped after wondering too close to the roaming vines that marked the border of the Plaguebringer's realm. Hopelessly lost within the writhing brambles; the bright green guardian called out for her mother and clanmates, but nobody came. A few days had passed until the tribe stumbled upon a terrified Kraid; she had begged them not to eat her, thinking they were monsters. While Nightwind saw it fit to leave the tiny guardian where she was, a young hatchling named Norrsken convinced the matriarch to take her in. Kraid has since developed into a strong and confident adult destined to perhaps grow as large as her formidable mother.

Like all others who are not born into the tribe: Kraid had to go through a rite of passage to prove her worth. She completed her mission by enduring an entire week alone in the abiding bone yard. She has taken her best friend Norrsken as her charge and the two have since become inseparable, developing an almost sisterly bond.

As the tribe's shaman - Kraid is responsible for interpreting prophecies and dreams, emotional counseling, communing with the dead, and funeral rites. She works together with two other assistant shaman, Headmaster and Hades. The trio are collectively referred to as "The Eyes of the Elements"
