While ShamanTide is a very friendly Obelisk, she has some issues connecting with other dragons. Of course Obelisks may already be a little intimidating looking to smaller dragons with their huge paws and impressive manes, but that isn't quite what is stopping her from finding others to connect with.
ShamanTide's gift is also her curse. Though born under the Tidekeeper's influence like many others, her power to control water is still far greater than that of most of her kin. She can not only manipulate the flow of water in battle if so necessary, but she can also witness flashes of the future in calmer pools.
In her gentle need to be aiding dragons and share the benefits of her powers, she tried to warn others when they may soon come across small misfortunes and accidents. She would never see big events, but for example a member of the clan breaking a beloved possession in a bout of clumsiness. When rushing over to said clan member to warn them, it turned out that her sudden arrival was what made the other dragon drop the possession.
This happened repeatedly and soon others began to associate her arrival with bad fortune. So she tried to ignore what she would see, even though it made her uncomfortable - in the end, even when she didn't play a part in it, what she saw would still happen.
The name she had gained herself by accident resulted in her feeling very lonely. So instead she began to manipulate water into the shape of animals and familiars to keep herself busy. And though their parents warned their children, ShamanTide suddenly found herself surrounded by hatchlings every day, making them laugh and smile.
And her loneliness was gone.
