About
Ardent protector of Fractal Village's sole water source: Miracle Lake. Now, one may look at the lake and think, "why the heck is there liquid water in a place so darn cold?" And honestly, such thoughts are completely valid—the only reason it hasn't yet frozen over is because of Seastrike's diligent upkeep. He is well-versed in both ice and water magic, and as a result he's able to keep the lake clean, temperate, and liquid-y for all.

Seastrike has been a resident of Fractal Village since birth, and he will go out of his way to avoid leaving it, even for a moment. As a result, he's much like his older sister Winterstar, in that he's known what his charge would be for a long time. He's always enjoyed talking long walks through the village, and when he was still quite young, he stumbled upon a large, secluded patch of perfectly smooth ice. Wondering why there was so much of it in one place, he began studying it, and he soon realized that it was a frozen-over lake. Excited by his discovery, he began researching magic, trying to find a way to melt all the ice back into water. He devoted years to it, postponing his Search (much to the chagrin of his family) until he figured out a solution.

Finally, the day came when it was time for Seastrike to test his 134th theory. Mustering up all the magic he could, he cast an intricate array of spells over the ice... and within a few seconds, it began to melt! Seastrike could hardly believe it—not only was he was able to unfreeze the lake, but the water stayed water! Soon, the entire village was alerted to the brand-new body of water, and everyone was delighted to see such a miraculous thing in their chilly home.

Because the lake's restoration was all thanks to Seastrike, he was allowed to name it by himself. He chose to call it Miracle not only because of the massive amount of effort he put into restoring it, but because finding it was a complete accident as well. Naturally, he was also allowed to be its guardian, as it's thanks to his magical maintenance that the lake still exists today.

Personality
A quiet and timid dragon by nature, Seastrike spends a lot of time on his own. He has friends, of course, but he prefers being alone, as it takes the pressure of talking and socializing off of him. But despite his demure demeanor, he is a fierce protector of Miracle Lake, and he gives all its visitors a thorough vetting before they're allowed near it. He himself enjoys all the lake brings as well; he loves swimming, fishing, and collecting interesting rocks and shells to add to his hoard.

He keeps in pretty regular contact with his sister, Winterstar, as they live fairly close to one another. And although he isn't close with his other sisters, Evenfall and Galactica, he respects their decision to hole themselves away in the Frigid Recesses. But he'd be more than happy to go swimming with them someday, if they promise to behave.
