Wyldyrn came across a young clown/stripes/basic Ridgeback dragon, still wet from a recent hatching. She noticed immediately that this hatchling was very special. Wyldyrn explained who she was and that she was from a Shadow lair. She also asked the young female if she would be willing to change her breed and her genes. When the young dragon finally understood - it took her a while because her Caribbean clown mother and obsidian and pink father hadn't really cared for her dark colors - she was thrilled and promised to do anything the kind Tundra dragon desired. Wyldyrn assured her that whatever happened would be discussed first - it was all her decision. The young Ridgeback gladly took the name Binder and became a Mirror then received both crystal and facet. When Night of the Nocturne happened, Binder was honored with a change to Nocturne, the Shadow breed of dragons.
