Titan

Due to their unique biology, the Basalt Hide subspecies have a complicated relationship of both fear and reliance to water. Small but strong-willed, young Titan was particularly averse to water and the growing pains of shifting plates. To try to make the growth process less exhausting for all involved, Titan's caregivers began to strongly emphasize water's capacity for healing. They even traveled to the Tidelord's wharf to allow the snapper hatchling to witness its commerce and excitement. Titan's fear turned to fascination as he saw many dragon breeds swimming effortlessly. As an older hatchling, he insisted on returning to the Sea of a Thousand Currents whenever it was time to grow, believing that exposure to more water would make him grow to be the biggest snapper ever. It was also a good excuse to see his Tundra friends from the wharf.

Titan still enjoys the hustle and bustle of the Tidelord's wharf and outfits himself carefully to avoid contact with water. He carries heavy inventory with ease. Occasionally, he travels with the Sunken Stars clan to hunt for treasure.
