C L A N L O R E

The land of Sornieth and their inhabitants have been changed from their original lore.

Sornieth, a land full of strange inhabitants and the most populated out of all the continents and islands. It is also one of two continents to have all 11 elements blended into it. Many of the other islands however were too harsh for dragons to properly live a quiet life in. Many of these islands didn't have the elements seperated as nicely as Sornieth's mainland. Many of these elements had the worst parts of each flight, with few benefits. Some islands were beautiful, but nearly all of them were more dangerous than the Mainland. Very few clans make homes on these islands, due to the danger and blended elements.

Many of the inhabitants of Sornieth are dragons are various breeds and sizes. Some of the largest of these dragons are, of course, Imperials, Ridgebacks, Guardians, and Veilspuns. But some of the smaller dragons are, Faes and spirals. Although the difference between the two breeds is closer to 10 meters, some records of Imperials show them growing above 20 meters, and spirals below a meter. Many of the dragons have similar ideals nowadays, considering they aren't true wild beasts, and at least have some morals. Although there are some stereotypes about many different flights that can apply of course, these stereotypes were made usually in the middle of a war or just some inside joke about themselves, like how Plague dragons are rather violent, Shadow dragons are tricksters, Arcane dragons are extremely smart, etc. Dragons ten to be full adults by the age of 25, and are considered hatchlings until 8 years old.

So where does this story begin? Nearly 5000 years after the 3rd age. To try and put it short, it would be impossible to put any basic story onto the clan's members. As nearly every dragon has their own story about how they got here, and all of them have varying degrees of need and want.

B I O G R A P H Y

Lost at sea, a mother dragon was fleeing away from her past clan. She held her egg softly, but the rain pattering against her and the angry mob behind her caused her to falter. The angry mob managed to catch up to her, and nearly killed her, all while she held onto her egg. But as she fell towards the sea, she finally dropped it, losing it.

While she survived okay enough from being beached onto a nearby island, her egg on the other hand, was contaminated by the leylines in the ocean. The egg grew a grotesque monster in it, a dragon who could no longer be recognized as once a skydancer's egg. When the egg hatched, a dragon with two minds appeared, and much larger than she should've been. The two floated in the water for a bit, before going after a fish.

They grew quite fast, still very much being contaminated by the leyline, and more "other" features were appearing. They grew living the same days over and over, not even realizing what is above the surface.

That is until one day, a pirate's ship came across the water. By this point they were 26 years old, and ((Right head) said to ((Left head)) to check out the unknown object gliding across the water. Both of them deciding "check out" the ship. While they climbed onto the ship, the passengers of the ship screamed due to the large two-headed, slightly skydancer looking, sea monstrosity. The only ones not fearing for their life on the ship was a fairly small Fae and a rather dead looking Wildclaw.
