Linnet

"We're all mad here."

Linnet was found giggling (or...cackling) at the edge of a fairground by Cheshire, a Fire Mirror. Although everyone should be happy at a fair, she seemed a bit beyond happy--she seemed downright manic. He checked in just to make sure she was okay, and found an overjoyed but not-all-there Snapper. After a short conversation, he verified that she had indeed just escaped from an asylum. Although most dragons would contact the authorities at this point, Cheshire knew from their short interaction that she was far from dangerous. And he personally didn't agree with containing those who are different. So he invited her to follow him home.

She stayed the night in the Demonic Woods, and the next morning Cheshire argued a case for her to stay in their clan to their clan leaders. Vixen agreed, with the condition that she have at least two dragons willing to be her chaperones or escorts, for her safety and others. Cheshire agreed to be one such dragon, and on his way to find another was interrupted by Incense, an Earth Imperial. He inquired about their new clan member and felt the same warmth and innocence in her that Cheshire had. He agreed to be the other chaperone, and showed Linnet the life of a circus performer--his life. She was ecstatic!

At one of the after-parties of his circus performance, she was introduced to Eissu, a Wind Mirror who was so very much like her. They hit it off right away and almost immediately became the bestest of friends. It was at that same party that she caught the eye of Snocone, a Plague Tundra who was still deciding on whether or not he should stay in the clan. He loved her unique spirit and fell for her instantaneously.

When another "crazed" soul arrived in her neck of the woods, Linnet was glad to embrace him; much to the chagrin of her devoted caretakers. She wasn't intimidated by the off-putting Plague Bogsneak called Rynair. In fact, she felt like she'd known him all her life... It wasn't until much later that they realized they'd both joined Vixen's Clan from the same previous clan.

Linnet may not be "all there" but she is truly a bright and special soul. She trusts easily and loves everyone openly. She is far too generous with her time and energy, giving it to anyone who asks. Her chaperones do their best to make sure she is treated with respect and is not taken advantage of by bad characters. Everyone in the clan who has met her is warmed by her presence. There are many in the Demonic Woods, even some of the darkest personalities, who would protect her no matter what.
