Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this cursed tree-beast wandered a little too far from his home lair (Strangeflesh, 576542), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!

Once upon a time, Fleetfoot was happy. That time has long passed, but once, he was.
He was once free, able to love whom he wanted, and be with whom he desired. He met a beautiful river Fae named Hanahakiragun, a lovely Mirror with powerful-shade killing magic. They mingled and danced, Fleetfoot telling her of Redempestism, and Hanahakiragun telling him of Queen Guinevere. They were deeply in love, and soon had three eggs.
But all was not well.
Hanahakiragun had a suitor, a devilish tree-beast by the name of Hanahaki. He loved Hanahakiragun, but she didn't love him. So he devised a wicked plan; to curse Fleetfoot and his hatchlings, because as a member of the Tree-borne Curse, he was adept at them.
As the eggs hatched, Fleetfoot could sense that something was wrong. Flowers, sickly green, poked through the spiral’s egg, and the two Faes were weak, spitting up weeds and dirt from infected lungs. Before anything could be done, Fleetfoot was hit by the curse as well. His body began to sprout horrible mauve flowers, strangling and choking him. His handsome face became a hideous mass of twigs and thorns, and his wings became flowering branches. Hanahaki laughed and laughed at the sight, forcing him away into the forests between Nature and Plague.
He ran, hoping that he could be free again.

Fleetfoot's condition left him weak and unable to travel far beyond the Scarred Wasteland he was originally cursed in. Eventually, he happened upon a clan that'd take him that bordered the Scarred Wasteland and Tangled Wood.
They were unsure of what to do about him. The clan's doctor tried a few different things. He tried cutting the branches, but this only caused them to grow back. He tried to inflict a rotting spell upon the pernicious plants - this worked for a while, but upon hearing Fleetfoot's screams of agony, he realized in horror that this was killing him as well.
Fleetfoot tried to accept that maybe he'd never be truly free from the curse, but maybe he could at least find a way to manage it. After all, the rotting spell almost worked.
