Light in all places.
The sinking sun paints the hillside in a blaze of gold. As creatures slink away to their burrows and nests, a lone creature, not much larger than a rabbit, sits still in the grass.

She stares up at the sky, waiting to greet the stars. Shades of violet and red overtake the horizon. Lumira smiles. "This is my favorite time of day," she says aloud. "My Flight is drawn to the sun, it's true, but I've always harbored a fondness for its setting."

When tiny pinpoints of light begin to appear, the Fae stretches her tiny claws towards them. There's a sad, hopeful longing in her eyes.

"I love it all, but it's the stars that clinch it, really," she admits.

"They're so small, but so beautiful. They chart the way for those lost in the dark and light a path for those who wander beneath them. I hope to be that for someone, someday: a light they can look to, even when the rest of the world has dimmed."

Her stare falters. She blinks away. Then, she says, more quietly, "The kind of someone I wish I'd had, when it counted."
