Nimue is the great-grandchild of clan Matriarch Brygid and her first mate, Rynzin. Like her great-grandmother, she is a formidable warrior. Nimue is strong and fearless and she loves exploring places others tend to fear and avoid. She prefers fighting and training in the Ghostlight Ruins, she enjoys spending lots of time in the Hewn City (especially at night), she likes the darkest of woods, and her absolute favorite places to be are dark and spooky swamps. When she decides to go on an adventure, she usually travels at night or during twilight hours. While Nimue is able to move silently and blend into her surroundings seamlessly if she wants to she rarely chooses to do so. Instead, she likes to announce her presence by carrying one or several lanterns with her the way Brygid does, who has been her hero and mentor from a young age on. Nimue is greatly respected by the various monsters she encounters on her excursions and she carries the scars of many a fight. She has learned a lot about herbs and her various uses from Elessar, knowledge that has proven to be invaluable to her during her long times spent alone in the wilderness.

Nimue is a loner and prefers to be on her own, though she also takes pride in her role as a protector of the clan and a member of Brygid's family. Her charge is Mulan, her first cousin one generation removed. Since Mulan enjoys the protection of Brygid's family and the entire clan, keeping her safe isn't much of a chore, and Nimue contents herself with the role as a teacher and mentor whenever Mulan seeks her out for sparring lessons. Aside from their teacher-pupil relationship, the two of them have become close over time and Mulan is probably Nimue's closest friend in the clan. The other dragons she feels close to are her own mentors, her family, and other fearless warriors she's come to respect, like Hope, Mariana, and Morrigan. Nimue has a special liking for toads and frogs and usually carries one around as a pet. She also allowed Morrigan to turn her into a toad during one of her experiments with magic potions.
