(talk about coming to the clan and meeting dragons here & bonds/connections/friendships he formed, and how he showed an ineptitude for fighting so he began to train under the clan's top fighter, Terrence the Ridgeback himself, and would duel constantly to help hone his abilities, and both of them being Lightening dragons only added to the beneficial aspects of their friendship and now Terrence considers him a veritable worthy foe and squire that's getting better all the time)
