The illegitimate child of the mayor and a prison guard, Yukon was meant to be a replacement for Gangrena when she died. But she never wanted to take up the mantle of leader, and simply wanted to live like a feral dragon in the woods. No amount of teaching and training could convince her to behave like a sensible adult. Besides, being the mayor's daughter would ensure that if she ever turned rogue, great shame would be upon Gangrena. So Yukon was banished to the underground waters of Corrosionius’s tunnels; where she belonged.

I believe she keeps a diary of sorts-- a journal to vent all of her frustrations, where she also keeps medicinal recipes, seeing as living in a swamp probably has you ending up ill more than once!
