Rat

Everything must die, and everything comes to an end. Deep underground, in a ravine that barely sees any sun, lies the Bile Pit. What comes to die in the Valley ends up here, where bones and flesh rot to bring fertile soil to the surface.

Rat creeps through the broken ribs and shattered skulls. Sometimes, the things that end up in the Pit don't want to stay down here, even if they're already dead. Then, Rat intervenes. Protecting the living up top. The price he pays is loneliness. Visits to the Bile Pit are few and far between, but he seems to cope well enough with it.

Recently, though, Rat has been seen even less. He seems to nurse an injury to his neck ever since Athrometheus had come to the Pit to rescue him, after Onyx had alerted the Council to Rats dire situation. When asked about it, he gets flustered and a bit frustrated and refuses to speak about it- but he has been heard muttering something about something escaping his grasp...
