Biography
Uh-oh, looks like this rock finder wandered a little too far from her home lair (Slatinus, #549575), and now she's off to see the world! If you ever feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off to See the World' thread. If you don't want another traveler in return, you can also drop her off at the Traveling Dragon Rest Hub!
They are looking to be adopted!

Slatinus: Since the day she hatched, Kandaja has been fascinated by gems, crystals, and precious minerals. Any interesting rock she came across, she added to her collection!
She dreams of becoming an archeologist of renown, but for now, she'll learn as much as she can. She hopes to visit the Pillar of the World someday, if she's ever lucky enough to meet an Earth clan friendly to travellers.
Prescott, The Forgotten Clan: Kandaja's first stop was a hatchling-friendly inn, hidden in Murkbarrow Close. She signed their guestbook and hurried inside, eager to escape the encroaching night. She stayed for a couple of days, before deciding that the clan was too noisy. Besides, she still wanted to find the Earthshaker's territory if she wanted to fulfill her dreams!
AwesomeDarky: Clove stayed with an Earth clan for a while as a permanent dragon, but came to the decision that it wasn't what she was looking for. At least, not just yet. She headed out once more, but she definitely wanted to return to this clan permanently if she ever became a veteran traveller. She was assured by her hosts that she'd be more than welcome back.
Volrin: Kandaja had always thought that her skills in digging up gems and precious stones like they were buried treasure would make her most suited for a permanent home in the Earthshaker's domain... but she had never considered that it was a hobby that could be put to good use in the Sunbeam Ruins as well! During her visit to the Light Flight, Kandaja became a fast favourite amongst the roaming acolytes, as it seemed like no matter where the Nocturne went, she was uncovering relics with such ease that she may as well be tripping over them! Some of the archaeologists taught her techniques for digging more carefully, so she wouldn't damage any of the delicate artifacts as she felt around for them in the dusty soil.
As good as it made Kandaja feel to be appreciated, the Nocturne couldn't help but feel... a little troubled by this revelation. She had always had a goal in mind, a vision, for her travels: she would go to Dragonhome, find a clan willing to welcome her as a permanent member, and there she would use her digging skills to aid dragons all over the Earth territory. But now, she felt... uncertain?
Kandaja had options that she hadn't considered before, but instead of being excited by these new prospects, it twisted an uneasy knot in her stomach. She felt kinda anxious? She'd have to figure out what to do... and oh boy, deciding on the flight to spend the rest of her life in was not going to be an easy decision to make.
BlackReshiram: Wherever Kandaja thought she'd end up permanently, she thought she could rule out the Ashfall Wastes. They certainly didn't seem to be her place. There were rocks here, sure. Crystals, too. But all around her was sizzling heat that blurred the air around her, oppressed her, made it hard to breath. She found herself in the Molten Scar, lava everywhere.
Ambitious flameforgers were looting the lavapools for metals, and Kandaja joined them, figuring once she was properly using her talent she'd feel more comfortable. There was a certain thrill to harvesting metals before lava could cover them, but she found it tarnished with anxious fear. Still, she ended up pointing some Fire clans to metals more quickly than they would have found them themselves, and one such clan, the Truthseekers, invited her into their lair.
Their lair was as hot as the rest of the Wastes, of course. Fire was not her element, and as nice as her hosts were, she quickly took her leave. Her hosts gave her some precious metal to take with her as a thank you for her work.
sgkat, Sunbeam Lanternhouse: Kandaja returned to the Sunbeam Ruins, this time to a cheerful inn perched on the cliffs above Lanternlea Port. The breeze off the water was refreshing after the intolerable heat of the Wastes, and she vowed never to take clear air for granted again. She spent a lot of time outside in the sunshine, helping Ila locate metals for the clan. Her companion treated her job with a gravity Kandaja found a little baffling, but it wasn't unpleasant.
