"I had a mate, you know. A beautiful Skydancer girl. We met on the Zephyr Steppes where I saved her from a giant bee. We used to travel all the world together; flying over the sea, exploring the ruins of that old city in Light's land, we even survived a crash landing into the Tangled Wood. We were stuck there for a whole week, and she didn’t die once. Then I brought her home, to raise a family together. Oh, it all fell apart then. She got sick from something or other almost immediately. Turns our old adventures together into such a bittersweet romance…

Towards the end, it… it must’ve got hold of her mind, because she went mad and started threatening me, rambling on about impaling me with bones. I refused to admit she was sick, of course. I didn’t want to consider the possibility of losing her. Or that it was my fault for bringing her here. So I was incredulous. I said to her, ‘What are you going to do, stab me?’ ...And that’s the story of how I died."
