Barlow's surviving son- Ynyr.

Fire is not common in the water ways where Barlow and Theia held their egg clutch. Nor was any water dragons prepared for a fire in any way. But just because things are not common does not mean they are impossible.

A burning log had crashed down onto the nest not long after him and his siblings had hatched. Pietra, his sister, got hit with the brunt of the log, sadly ending her life. And Ynyr got the rest of it. It was highly debated for many many days if the young dragon would pull through- and in what state he would be in, but he survived. He has severe burns over half of his body and his wings are permanently damaged. Ynyr wears burn clothes over his burns and relies on mechanical wing extensions for movement.

He now lives a mellow and quiet life with his family. Ynyr is soft-spoken and quite reclusive as he doesn't like to explain what happened to him.
