Kirschwasser

Hatched and purchased on my Birthday, which also happens to be "Talk like a Pirate Day".
Kirschwasser: German for "Cherry Water" which is a type of brandy.

They say Ridgebacks have a natural aversion to water, well, not this one. Kirsch is a fearless pirate that sails the seas of Sornieth on her own ship with a sizeable crew. She "borrows" from other ships, pirates, bandits, and wealthy land merchants as well. Despite her ruthless, criminal nature, she has never targeted the needy. After all, what does someone with nothing have to take in the first place? Occasionally she even makes deliveries for high paying clients and trades with merchants ashore. While she is perfectly capable of being civil, her wild heart truly belongs to the "eat or be eaten" law of nature and the violent beauty of the sea.

Her Arcane blood runs deep and she uses the stars to map her courses. She seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to the stars and can sometimes even be found speaking to them. Just don't tell anyone that little tidbit or you might not live to regret it.

"Pfft, what's so scary about a man called 'Captain Cherry'?"

"Oh, Cap'n 'Cherry' aint no man. And I'll tell ye somethin' else she aint; afraid of no man, be he livin' or dead. She got eyes like ol' Medusa, 'cept of turnin' ye to stone, they make ye knees quake like a hatchling fresh outta the egg. Even the King o' the Sea himself gives her a wide berth."

"How could one woman be that scary?"

"Heh, ye'll find out for yerself soon enough, lad. Best be keepin' that tongue to yerself though, 'less ye wanna lose it."
