Basil, Infiltrator, They/Them

As the lead infiltrator of this Thieves Guild, Basil picks locks, disables mechanical security measures, and monitors surveillance. Basil brags that they can pick any lock in under ten minutes. Their colleagues often put this theory to the test, and haven't been able to best them yet.

Basil's analytical mind means that they get along stupendously with Languish, who often requests their assistance in beefing up or testing the Guild's security measures. The pair has made a game of improving the Guild's security measures- Languish creates them, and Basil breaks them. By the slew of curses Languish throws at Basil every time they best her security, one might see them as rivals. However, Languish is just as quick to compliment Basil on their swift or clever thinking, and the pair is often seen with their heads put together, working on advanced mechanical traps and switches.
