Psammis lurks deep within The Tangled Wood, in a home constructed out of living organic materials in the Foxfire Bramble. Their home twists up directly from the earth, brambles and thorns serving as exterior walls while smooth roots line the interior. Psammis grew his home himself through years of dedication to plant and shadow based magic, and now boasts some impressive skills in that field. Psammis is devoutly loyal to Shadowbinder, and spends much of his days following orders delivered from Shadowbinder's closest confidants and followers.

While Psammis mostly tends to the Foxfire Bramble, ensuring that it covers as much land in darkness as possible, he is known to vanish for weeks on end once every few months. Rumors abound as to why, but some say that his loyalties aren't entirely what they appear to be. Certainly, he receives some strange visitors...
