He is the best ice pack and he will help bring your fever down!


An ice cold touch upon the skin,
Like frosty fingers creeping across a tin.
Numb, it makes you, as if partial sleep has taken hold,
Yet it's a remedy so very old.

Such a small creature, just a butterfly size,
Yet freezing to touch and too cold to prize.
Bluy grey scales foretell who he is,
An icy dragon, in a form so thin.

Many would say he would have no use,
For what could a frost do to those bruised?
He, with no warmth of his own,
Seeked out those with too much of a coal.

Fevers gone and injuries healed,
The cold had its worthiness revealed.
He lived a life where warmth had no home,
Yet was welcomed in, where lives were on hold.
