Biography

Once the daughter of a nameless king and queen, Cassilda hails from a city far beyond the stars. She has a quiet and refined, yet somewhat melancholy disposition, and is known to be a formidable enchantress. Much like her mate Hastur, Cassilda herself as well as her arcane talents are rarely seen in action - though they are frequently heard by those passing through the Penumbra Circus. Cassilda's lilting dirges drift through the heavy, hazy air, charming those who hear it and often anchoring them to the spot where they stand.

No one can tell for sure if it is Cassilda's song that leads many to madness within the winding grounds of the carnival. However, those who manage to leave the Penumbra Circus often cry for a song within their heads, one infused with a beauty and sadness the likes of which no dragon of this earth could fathom. And they would swear, all the while, they had seen shimmering red eyes gazing dolefully down at them from the glowing branches above.
