Iris is one of the most reclusive dragons of Abyss, much preferring to keep to herself. It’s not that she’s particularly shy, she’s just content with her own company, enjoying hours of meditation and walks alone. She finds social interactions very draining, as an empath, so will often retreat to recharge her batteries after spending time with other dragons.

Her duties are taken very seriously- when she’s truly needed, Iris feels as if she cannot say no. Her counselling abilities are second to none, and many dragons say they find just simply being beside her helps them. She’s skilled at calming those in distress, and an excellent listener, able to diffuse even the most emotionally charged situations with soothing words and companionship. However, she struggles to detach her own emotions, and often ‘takes on’ other dragons’ pain as her own. She collects pretty crystals, which she finds helpful as a task to focus on, often venturing out to see what Aditi is selling at the market.
