Teitr waited miserably to be sent off to the Flamecaller in his original clan when Xiamara of Niharike came to visit and begged her leader to bargain for him. Once in Niharike clan, he began assisting Xia in the gardens and became much happier. Though Arcane, his magic was quite in tune with his gardening skills, and he soon learned how to use it to make the plants hardier and healthier.

Things changed drastically when Teitr visited Amarayne clan and sired a clutch with Elomuria for a project to bring the bloodlines of all the leaders of the alliance together. Teitr stayed to help raise the clutch from which Heulwen was born and grew to love the clan and make many friends in it. Once he returned to Niharike, he was a more confident dragon, and Sketerre took notice. She started a tumultuous relationship with Teitr, which began to eat away at his confidence as the separation from the things he loved at Amarayne began to eat away at his happiness. He began to withdraw and pine away, which caught Xai's attention.

Desperate to make him happy once more, Xia once again asked Andais for help where Teitr was concerned. She asked that he be relocated to Amarayne, should they be willing to accept him and should he be willing to go. Andais agreed, and as soon as they had both Teitr and Amarayne's go-ahead, they made preparations to relocate. After recieving a generous parting gift from Xiamara as thanks for his help and to let him know that she would be ok without him to help her.

Teitr eagerly returned to Amarayne, who was equally happy to have him back, and although he still has memories of dark days and trying times, and although he does miss some dear friends at Niharike, he is much happier here.
