The elders say that Snow Angels rarely appear to anyone (if at all) but when they do it is a very special sight and considered to be a blessing from Spirit.

Some dragons say that leaving them offerings on the longest night of the year brings blessings of peace and hope, while for others, they believe that the snow angels come to deliver messages of those who have passed on and healing for those in need. For some the holidays can hit harder than most, leaving scars of pain and loss upon the hearts of a few souls and their appearance is to help those who's souls need of their comfort and aid.

Snow Angels are said to be master shapeshifters, able to transform into various woodland creatures, however, their most common form to take is a deer. They love having food left for them, hung from the branches of nearby trees to feed themselves, other snow angels, and critters (usually forest creatures, deer, birds, squirrels) that accompany them as their personal entourage.

The only known proof of their existence is the footprints they leave behind in the snow at dawn. To those who follow them may find that the tracks may change in shape or form, then simply just disappear altogether... 		Snowfall Elk
