______An Odious Existence

It was too sweet for Alheli. This dreamy idea that they were sent to the Waking Plane to quietly shoo souls away, cleaning up the messes of the mortals like personal servants, and Alheli would not stand for it. They were not meek creatures to operate in silence; they were the Graveyard's Chosen sent to gather the souls it would need to remain strong.

And if his fellow Flowers were too weak to do the job, then Alheli would do it himself, for he did not need their aid. These fickle mortals wouldn't know what hit them-- it was time for war to ravage the lands of Sornieth.

______The Warmonger

Alheli does not subscribe to the ideals of peace.

It is a weak sentiment, that creatures must exist in harmony, and Alheli knows this in his blackened soul. For if they remain shadows in this plane of existence, they will always go overlooked and underestimated, and Alheli intends for Sornieth to understand the might that is the Mourning Flowers of the Beyond. His brethren were hunted and unknown, nobodies among the mortals, and it was shameful.

Creatures as ancient and noble as they were should never be hunted by mortals. Alheli stepped through the Veil with anger coursing through him, cursing his ties to the weak ones, and he was not one to sit idly by as the world continued. Within a fortnight, he'd ensured himself an ally, and within a full moon's cycle he'd racked up a bodycount to be wary of. His claws were sharper than ever. And when he began his journey to dyeing the soil of Sornieth red, the ripples it left behind were quick and terrible- the fields were littered with fresh graves wherever Alheli went.

Growing skilled in combat and with utilizing the powers the Graveyard had given him, he soon cemented himself as a proper nuisance for the many clans wishing to live peacefully. He incited border squabbles, gently coaxed particularly large bands of bandits towards weak spots in trade routes, and sparked conflict between allies with a few well-placed words.

He was spreading chaos, and pain, and Alheli delighted in the wrecked souls he left behind as he swept through the lands like a plague.
