Phrygian

Eccentric and borderline-unreadable even to other Fae dragons thanks to the sluggish motion of his crests, Phrygian seems to have made it his life's mission to notate and catalog every piece of music in existence. To this end, he frequently travels the world in search of more music. Whenever he finds a piece being performed, whether it be a choir performing in a grand amphitheater or a farmer humming a folk song, he perches nearby and scribbles down a score as fast as his claws can manage. He frequently demands multiple repeat performances in order to capture all elements of the piece, making him something of an unwelcome figure to many musicians. Despite all this, Phrygian shows no apparent pleasure in listening to music, instead seeming to prefer poring over his written scores, which are painstakingly catalogued deep within the frigid caves his clan calls home.

For all his insufferable personality and seeming lack of interest in any socialization with other dragons whatsoever, Phrygian shares a surprisingly strong bond with his mate Carver. She is happy to listen to him expound monotonously and at length about musicology, and he in turn is not the slightest bit perturbed by her many "experiments". He patiently endures the many questions she has for him whenever he returns from one of his longer journeys to find that she has forgotten him.
