Biography

____________
nk7xdrC.png From life comes death and from death comes life. She doesn't remember when this universal law stopped applying to her. All she knows is the festering.

────────────────────── ✥ ──────────────────────

Sometimes something goes wrong in the fabric of order. It changed the purpose of a livebearing god. Dislodging her from her fated function in the cycle of life. It mutated her into an abomination.

They didn't know where it came from. Where it touched it tainted. It didn't consume living things, but clung to them, made room for itself, and added.

Too much and too fast. Distorting their bodies and their metabolism, altering their cells, their DNA. Their skin started drooping, pupils blinked open on their backs and claws sprouted from their bellies. Bones fragmented and limbs grew out of chests. Spines collapsed and skulls yawned open too far.

It shattered sentient beings' minds by incorporating its own hivemind into their conscience. They weren't made to be aware of everything all at once, to be one mind in a thousand forms. Their amplified agony drove them mad.

A god can't be killed, so they locked it in a sacrifice. The dead end host, they called her. A pitiful creature that still roams the plains. Half mad, and vicious like a wounded animal. Through its agony, it weeps.

And the lingering illness is over at last --
and the fever called "Living" is conquered at last."
