relatively typical obelisk; confident and brave, but also very pragmatic and gets teased a bit about being a lightning dragon (jokingly, he laughs too)
he has a soft spot for the innocent, and lets the hatchlings decorate him with stuff they find, like flowers :)

despite this outward amicability, he is very impersonal and evasive, lightly tiptoeing around questioning when asked, instead focusing on his job as a guard and watchman. he always maintains an air of friendliness, but some dragons feel he can be subtly passive-aggressive when they pry too much. artemis is among the very few dragons he seldom confides in.

i've considered that he's an ex-lightning exalt and simply cracked one day, having been slowly chipped away by the callous and often cruel environment. he stays away from the southern sunbeam ruins for this reason. some nights he suffers from insomnia, and can be restless without a task to focus on.

i stg this guy used to be an absolute unit compared to my other obes idk what happened :pensive:
hes the biggest dragon in the clan (second to emerald) in canon. this makes him their strongest unit and has been a valuable defense for the clan. he often remains stationed around the outside, occasionally switching spots when given a tip by patrol.
generally i think residents of the sunbeam ruins wouldn't have to be hyper-vigilant, but there are definitely some less than savoury individuals lurking.
