"To defend light" Luxfendere was born from a statue rather than an egg; a creation from the Earthshaker himself that was imbued with Lightweaver's magic. Their statue was taken to the Falgem Bastille after a small patrol gathered the statue from the dig site the obelisk breed was discovered in. Their stone form hadn't felt the movement aside from the shifts as they travelled through the different flights and after being granted rest in the Light territory gathered enough strength to awaken. Their first breath made the air still around them as the dragons waited with bated breath. Piercing yellow eyes blinked open and large wings stretched out as sunlight warmed the scales for the first time. The world was brighter than the cave their kind had been created in. The obelisk watched many of the dragons stare in awe at the formidable aura they exuded... All but a select few—one being a strange looking pearlcatcher with many glowing eyes and wings while the others were their loyal guards. The obelisk was quickly caught up on the events both in and outside the Frozen Heavens Kingdom. The nameless dragon's might quickly earned them a place among Sanctus' guard. As they were created to do, they protected the queen and deity with their life. The obelisk has proven to be a rather silent but powerful member of the group, though they rarely have to show force. The obelisk's presence alone often deters disobedience or acts of violence against the kingdom's leader. It took a while to find a name suitable for a dragon such as themselves but Luxfendere had combined their first-born kins' ideals of using names evoking hopefulness as well as the kingdom's naming style for dragons of a rank such as their own. Thus, they became known officially as Luxfendere, which held the meaning of "to defend light". It felt suiting, even if their home was in Ice after leaving the Falgem Bastille for the main clan. It was a reminder to Luxfendere's beginnings and to their duty as an obelisk and to their queen.
