Defender | Tasked by the Earthshaker

The Earthshaker carved Devotion from stone to protect her clan. Not entirely understanding what threats abound, she is prepared to guard them from danger none the less.

Devotion is enthusiastic to learn all she can about her clan, which sometimes gives her an air of naivete, but she's determined to take her role as a protector seriously. She can appear quite fierce when she wants to, and has impressive concentration for guarding tasks that other dragons find lengthy and dull. Some clanmembers have started passing off their shifts to her. It's unclear whether she has yet to realize their scheme or if she genuinely enjoys these chores.

Devotion's patience should not be mistaken for idleness. Several clanmates have learned the hard way, scrambling out of her path any time she bounds through to deliver updates on her duties.

The trophies she wears aren't just for show, either. She has determined that intimidation is a key step toward protection, since a threat frightened off is another threat taken care of. She earned her pelts and armor by her own tooth and claw. This way, as she tells it, she is best able to ward off any opponents which would qualify as distractions and leave the ones which actually require her full attention. Some interpret her enthusiasm as bragging, but she seems far too genuine for that to be the case.
