She may be young, but she knows what she's doing. Hex graduated early to get out of the house. She knew she didn't want to wind up like her mother, burdened with eight children. It was too many to care for. Too many to love equally... Although Hex never went without, she always wanted more. She fantasized about being an only child - a frustration that often comes up during work because Dral and Salar remind her a little too much of her brothers.

Hex is a brilliant mechanic and engineer. She knows the engines of The Collider inside and out. Not hard, considering she designed several of the parts herself. She is no-nonsense in the workspace and refuses to allow those that work under her to play around. She's frequently seen yelling at her subordinates and half her team would swear she's losing hair from stress.

She wants to prove herself as an individual, and coupled with the fact that her engines are finally being used in the field - it's her time to shine. The entire mission is a field test for her, and she can't take the chance of failure.
