Gelegenheid was also developed by Valthaas Staccio - though she was created at a later date. The Collider had actually launched before she was finished, thus forcing her to be sent via data stream almost a month into their first mission. She didn't even have enough time to be field tested before being integrated into the main systems.

She monitors the secondary systems in comparison to Maksim, who oversees vital functions. Gelegenheid monitors various scanning probes and can accompany the team on missions in her own little rover resembling a robot with rover-like tracks. In fact, if the members of The Collider can't find her, chances are she's zooming about the ship.

Unlike the other A.I. developed under Schwartz Industries, Gelegenheid seems to exhibit some form of emotion that goes beyond simple emulation. Hex has likened her to that of a young child who is just learning what it means to feel. Valthaas disputes this, claiming he didn't include any emotional developmental protocols.
