His soft gentle glow and warm aura having took years of hardship to create. For the first part of his life Cryptid remained stuck as a larva, unable to change though not fully at fault of his own. Life can be kind, but it can also be rather cruel. As everyone else around him seemed to change and grow into the perfect examples of what they were meant to be Cryptid stayed the same. He didn't know it yet, but his body wasn't his own. Not yet at least. How do you go about living in a body not meant for you? How do you live in the skin that in no way feels like what you see inside? When you're face with being called something you aren't at every turn, what do you do? For years Cryptid just lied to himself, he said he was fine with who he was, that to love yourself was no the key to a happy life, but time, as it does for everyone caught up with him. It was finally time to change, to be who he really was inside. That small little larva grew into a beautiful creature the very day that change happened, and now, Cryptid has never been happier. It takes a lot to love someone no matter what and over the years a lot can change, but my dear, I find I am more in love with you every day. You have been with me through thick and thin, you helped me transition, helped me grow into the person I am today, and for that I am forever thankful. Thank you for helping me, for loving me. It felt wrong, every dress she was forced into, every high heel she slipped on that people said made her look like a woman. It was all so wrong. She would dream at night of being someone else. Someone she desperately wanted to be, someone she really was deep down. Each night the dreams got more vivid, so real she could taste it until one day she decided she couldn't take it anymore. If this was her body she would make it how she saw fit. Carefully she took out the parts of herself she didn't like, the parts that ever never meant to be there in the first place, and put in new ones that fit her better.
